Grolux2 Productions Inc., in partnership with the Mirego Inc. team, presents an iOS application that lets you record videos of your loved ones’ reactions while they watch videos or photos.

Moment Catcher is unique in its design. It uses the front camera on your device ( iPad, iPhone, iPod touch with a front camera) to take videos of a person watching videos or photos on their tablet.

The "Moment Catcher™" app was created to capture unique spontaneous and precious moments.

This app was designed to record videos of your children or friends while they watch movies, photos or other pictures on their iPhone, iPod touch or iPad screens.

Many parents regret not having captured spontaneous moments of their children when they dance, sing or laugh while watching funny videos or photos.

The goal of the app, therefore, is to film children without their knowledge while they watch videos or look at pictures.

Creator: "I got this idea while watching my children. They have their favorite videos on YouTube, and when they watch them, they often start to dance, laugh or sing. Every time I take my video or photo camera out to capture those precious moments, they stop what they were doing and don’t want to move anymore. I wondered how I could capture those moments that move us or make us laugh. This is how Moment Catcher™ was first developed."

With "Moment Catcher™", you can instantly send your videos to Facebook or via email to your loved ones.

You can also download videos to your computer for editing.

Goal:

This application was designed primarily to capture videos of your children, but you can also use it to capture special moments with a friend. You can make a video of a marriage proposal to the love of your life, let them view your request and capture the moment for the rest of your life. Or tell good news to a loved one and capture the joy.

Easy to use:

Choose a video or photos in the "Capture a moment" section. As soon as you press Play (Play), the recording starts. You can then view your videos in the "The Moments" section.

Features:

- Multimedia viewing: YouTube videos, videos and photo libraries.
- Choose your favorite YouTube videos.
- Simultaneous video recording while viewing multimedia material.
- Library of videos recorded using the app.
- Sharing on social networks (Facebook) and via email.

Notes:

- This application must be allowed to use your location information to access your personal videos and photos.
- This application requires a front camera.

Wow, a friend sent me this app to catch the reaction of another friend while I showed him a priceless video. His reaction was even more priceless. There is no other app like this!!!! Super easy to use. Great upgrade too.

Some bad moments

App crashes as soon as it opens up! Dont know if could be caused by new ios6 update?
Glad I didnt pay for this right away. The supposedly free app is NOT. Once you open it up you will find that to record more than 2 seconds of video, or to save the videos to your phone, you have to purchase add-ons. If youre prepared to pay a few bucks for this app, have at it. Its probably decent. But IMO, it is false advertising to bill this as a free app. That being the case, I dont plan to purchase it.
So much fun! Awesome app to shock friends and capture their innocent reaction.
If you bother to read the Terms Of Use and Privacy Policy for this application, which I believe you should always do with any contract that agree to. You will notice a huge contradiction in their legal mumbo jumbo. The terms state that you have sole discretion over any content that you create in the app, and that you unequivocally own all content you create. But here is where it turns to garbage. A little lower down you will read, that by using the application, you give this company, Moment Catcher, non-transferrable, royalty-free rights, to display, modify, and most importantly, SELL, any content that you create in this application! Wait, what?! You first say that we own all rights to any content we create in this app. Then follow that up by saying that we dont own anything, you own it all. This is why TOS contracts are utter garbage. It basically requires you to have a law degree to understand anything, then if you do, they pull some kind switcheroo like this! I was actually happy that they openly displayed their TOS so I didnt have to go and hunt it down. But, now I am just not comfortable at all using this application. I could possibly be mistaken about what this contract is saying. But that is the problem with this kind of legal gibberish! If I am reading this incorrectly, I would ask that the developer please clarify this issue for me. I will be happy to revise my rating and review, if it turns out that I am incorrect in understanding what their TOS is saying. But if I am correct, well, Id advise users to be very weary of what they create and upload or share in this application, because as far as I can see, you have no rights over your intellectual property created in this app. Once again, if the developer will please clarify this, it would really be beneficial to myself and I am sure anyone else who is as confused as I am, about this apparent legalese doublespeak, thank you. iPad 4 / ios 6.1
I expected this to be some quick and easy method to capture those impromptu moments. I was wrong. If really does nothing I want. Uninstalled,
When I played the reaction video, it didnt show the video in the corner!! Pretty much defeats the whole point.
